I found reports of 29 black-on-white homicides in July—and one white-on-black double homicide where, uniquely, the corporate media Reported Race and even speculated about a possible “Hate Crime.”
Arrested was Jaquan Hall, age 21.
WCHSTV.com reports the victim was a well-known athlete in the area, where he played football at the University of Charleston.

Arrested was Avion Carnel Bell, age 19, who is "charged with first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He faces 28 years in prison and possible death if convicted of the first-degree murder charge," according to wfmynews2.com.
Reports say Bell allegedly pointed a gun at Grant while she worked at a convenience store and gas station. Witnesses claim they heard Bell demand money, Grant refuse the demand, and a gunshot.

Charges connected to Uyar’s death were pending against Tyler Rios, age 27.
Reports say the New Jersey woman was planning to return home from Tennessee, apparently to escape an abusive relationship with Rios. Aspiring rapper Bryan Rhoden is accused of murdering Siller and two other men identified as 76-year-old Paul Pierson and 46-year-old Henry Valdez.
Reports say Siller was on the job as a golf pro when he noticed a white pick-up truck on the course. He was apparently shot dead when he went to investigate. The other two victims were found in the pick-up truck's bed. Arrested and charged was Dale L. Williamson, age 41.
Reports say police were called to the victim's home to investigate a death where they found the lifeless victim.
No backstory was reported.

Reports say police were called after hearing cries for help from a suburban apartment. Upon arrival they found the suspect peering from inside the apartment through a peep hole in the door.

Arrested was 22-year-old Omar Soto-Chavira.
Reports say Bartlett was shot when the SWAT team he led confronted the suspect at a residence. Bartlett died of his wounds in a hospital. Four other SWAT team members were wounded by the gunman.
Police were called after the suspect was seen walking in the neighborhood with a firearm. When police arrived, the suspect reportedly opened fire from the doorway of the home. A standoff lasted about ten hours.
Omar is a masculine name frequently used by Muslims, but also in Spanish-speaking countries. The suspect's ethnicity was not disclosed in news reports. Court records present Omar Soto-Chavira as "White"

24-year-old Feymon Walker was charged with murder.
Reports say police heard gun shots just after midnight in Toledo's downtown area. Upon investigation, they found Clere in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds [Man accused of Sunday morning shooting makes court appearance, WTVG Staff, 13abc.com, July 18, 2021].
Edson Moreno, age 26, is accused of killing Favreau.
Reports say the two were roommates and the fatal shooting occurred during an argument. Police were contacted by a female witness who hid in a closet at the home where the shooting occurred.
It’s possible Moreno is a member of the local Cape Verdean community.

Treyvion Simpson, age 22, was charged with first degree murder.
Reports say Billinger was shot dead in a McDonald's restaurant parking lot where he met the suspect expecting to sell him a gaming console. Billinger reportedly earned a living by delivering food and selling online. Police have accused 23-year-old Kenyata Gardner of murder.
Report say Farrell went missing July 6, 2021. His body was found dumped along a country road.

Arrested was Kidus Yohannes, age 34.
Reports say the young homeless woman was stabbed behind a Dollar Tree store in 2018.

Arrested were Christian Henderson,19, (pictured), and Savannah Wilson, 17, (not pictured), reports say.
Apparently, the two suspects used social media to lure Macke with intent of robbing him. Macke was found shot to death in a crashed vehicle. Dangelo Cash Clemons, 30, is facing kidnapping charges after police allege that he held Maggie Millsap, 5, captive for several days.
The girl was rescued by police after neighbors heard her shouting for help from a window. Upon investigation, the girl's dad was found deceased in his adjoining home. Reports say the girl's mother died of cancer months earlier leaving her dad to raise her. It is not known if Clemons is connected to the man's death. The incident was investigated June 30, 2021.

August Shaton Sanders, 26, was charged with murder.
Reports say the two lived at a trucking company where they engaged in an argument ending in Hambrick's death. [Arrest made in Temple Saturday homicide, by Roland Richter, fox44news.com, July 19, 2021]
The suspect has been identified as Moashaun Lafarr Bristow, age 23.
Reports say the incident occurred at the victim's home but had no explanation why the suspect was at the home. The suspect, 35-year-old Leslie Stephen Scarlett, was fatally shot by police.
Saunders was shot as he helped firefighters battle a blaze at a home apparently set by Scarlett. Also killed was Scarlett's 36-year-old girlfriend, Jennifer Fells, whose charred remains were found in the house.
An EMT, 20-year-old Jacob Dindinger, was reportedly shot in the head by Scarlett. Dindinger was responding to an unrelated call nearby when he was shot. He survived the shooting, but remains in critical condition.
Another EMT, Cassandra Moreno, age 21, was shot in the arm and chest by Scarlett, but was able to contact 911 to report the carnage. She survived the shooting.
Reports say Saunders proposed to his girlfriend, not harmed in the attack, the day before being killed. His Facebook page reveals he was a supporter of Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign.

Arrested was 20-year-old Brian Devon Booth.

Arrested was 36-year-old Brian Williams.
Reports say Gambetty's body was discovered when firefighters entered her apartment due to apparent arson. Williams was arrested after police viewed security video of a man with a suitcase in the area about the time of the crime.
Upon investigation of Williams' home, they found the suitcase which contained a bloody handsaw and body parts such as fingers and toes belonging to the victim.
Williams apparently was burglarizing Gambetty's home when the death occurred. Charged with first-degree murder was Daryl Vandyke, age 55.
Reports say the victim's father reported his son missing about two and a half hours after the boy left home. Police were unable to locate the victim. A pair of bicyclists found Butler's body dumped in a ditch.

Gerald Wayne Williams, age 34, was charged with murder.
Reports say the victim was a passenger in his father's pickup truck when a suspect fired shots at them in an apparent road-rage incident. Castro was struck in the head with a bullet and later died in intensive care. The victim's brother was also in the truck.

Arrested was alleged serial rapist, Kano Brown, age 30.
Brown was arrested July 23, 2021, for the May 2020 incident

Kvaughandre Presley, 20, and Gabriela Liliana Torres, 21 were arrested.
Reports say that Eifert was helping her daughter move into a new home when she was shot. She was alone at the time. Theft was the apparent motive.

Reports say a vehicle with four individuals inside was approached by the suspect. The vehicle left the parking lot, traveling across the street to a gas station where the suspect followed them. The suspect allegedly produced a handgun, shooting two of the four individuals. Pugach died from his wounds. Arrested was 36-year-old Preston Higgs.
Reports say Quackenbush, a high school chemistry teacher, was found deceased on March 3, 2021, in a home she shared with Higgs. Apparently, the two were in a relationship.

Arrested was 53-year-old Thaddeus Wallace Jr.

Arrested was Eric Deshields, 29.
The shooting took place near Material Handling Systems where the two were coworkers [Coroner identifies man killed in workplace shooting, no attribution, wdrb.com, July 27, 2021].
Braijon Burton was charged with attempted homicide.
Reports say Burton entered a U-Haul facility where he shot employee Jaillet, then stole a truck to ostensibly help his cousin move. Investigators describe the potential suspect as a Black man.

Aundray Lamonte Ivy Jr., age 18, faces a preliminary charge of murder.
Reports say Cox was standing on a sidewalk with his girlfriend when Lamonte drove by at a high rate of speed. Cox shouted for Lamonte to slow down.
Lamonte reportedly returned to the site to shoot at Cox's house but shot the victim instead as Cox approached his vehicle [Argument over speeding led to shooting death, police say, by Ken de la Bastide, heraldbulletin.com, July 30, 2021].
For those interested, there just aren’t very many white-on-black homicides. According to information provided by the FBI, there was a total of 3,315 white victims of homicides in 2018, the most recent year available. 514 of the offenders were black, sometimes of course with multiple victims. There were 2,925 black homicide victims. Just 234 of the offenders were white [FBI: Crime in the U.S. 2018 • Tables • Expanded Homicide Data Table 6].
In July, however, I found one spectacular case:
The suspect, 28-year-old Nathan Allen, was fatally shot by police.
Reports say Allen crashed a large stolen truck into a building and fled on foot, shooting bystanders. The victims were shot multiple times.
Reports also say Allen had no criminal record, was married, and held a PhD.
Green was a retired state trooper and Cooper was an Air Force veteran.
Unlike most news stories reporting interracial homicides, reports emphasized the races of the victims and suspect in this incident.
