It’s perhaps fitting that the apparent rout of the “America First Caucus” amid Ruling Class attacks on the “Anglo-Saxon” legacy came on the day of Prince Philip’s funeral and the iconic shot of the black-clad, masked-up Sovereign sitting alone in a nearly empty church [Queen and Royal Family alone but for the gaze of the world, by Allan Little, BBC, April 17, 2021]. But Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s proposal struck a nerve. In one form or another, this issue will be back.

MTG and other Congressmen proposed an “America First Caucus” that included common sense proposals on immigration, Big Tech, infrastructure and other issues [America First Caucus Policy Platform Final, PunchBowl News, accessed April 18, 2021]. But after a draft was leaked, Regime Media journalists rose in outrage at the use of the terms “Anglo-Saxon” and “European architecture” [Capitol Hill’s far right pushes Anglo-Saxon values, European architecture, by Oriana Gonzalez, Axios, April 17, 2021].

The would-be caucus members sounded what looks like an ignominious retreat (there are reports the proposal will be revived later this year), unquestionably because the GOP Congressional Leadership was pushing them to surrender. Well into the Biden Administration, the GOP has no strategy other than hoping Biden will fail—and attacking its own base [GOP believes Democrats handing them winning 2022 campaign, Brett Samuels, The Hill, April 18, 2021].

To be clear, there may be something to the defense that the members of the America First Caucus didn’t fully vet the draft. Though the Regime Media ran cover for her, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had the same problem when a draft version of the “Green New Deal” was put online [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s rocky rollout of the Green New Deal, explained, by Tara Golshan and Elia Nilsen, Vox, February 11, 2019]. It included bizarre language about the challenge to “fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes” [Green New Deal FAQ, Accessed April 18, 2021].

But nonetheless, the Biden campaign essentially endorsed many of its ideas and is arguably trying to implement them in its infrastructure bill, once again showing that Democrats never abandon their frontline fighters [Joe Biden has endorsed the Green New Deal in all but name, by Julian Brave, The Guardian, July 20, 2020].

Note the contrast with the GOP Leadership’s response to the America First Caucus. Members reportedly included Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar and possibly Louie Gohmert [Conservative U.S. House Republicans to form ‘America First’ caucus, by David Morgan, Reuters, April 16, 2021].

After the draft proposal was leaked, RINO Congressman Adam Kinzinger immediately ran to his media friends and said that anyone who joined “should have their committees stripped [and] the Republican conference should expel them from conference participation” [Kinzinger says fellow Republicans who join America First caucus should lose committees, by Sarah Elbeshbishi, USA Today, April 17, 2021].

Minority leader Kevin McCarthy also ran to the reporters to denounce his own members, saying that the GOP isn’t the party of “nativist dog whistles.” In fact, McCarthy claimed, America itself is built on the idea “that we are all created equal” and has no foundation in “identity, race, or religion.”

This begs the obvious question–why should someone identify with or care about something that has no identity?

In Kevin McCarthy’s nihilist view, America is just a continent-wide shopping mall. But his long career shilling for cheap labor shows thar he backs his fuzzy views with concrete actions. His 2020 "Commitment To America" House election platform, which of course led the GOP to defeat, was the same, stale, Conservatism Inc. nonsense about “Opportunity Zones,” something that could have been published forty years ago—only the 1980 version would have been better on crime.  

The takedown of the America First Caucus was essentially the same playbook the GOP and Conservatism Inc. used successfully on Steve King. They accept Leftist media outrage at face value and disavow their own base. Rep. Greene was left blaming the media. But quite probably, had she not caved, the insane GOP leadership would have tried to remove her at the next election as they did with King, even if it meant a Democratic victory.

The result of all this: the Republicans grassroots become demoralized, Leftist journalists and “Cancel Culture” grow more powerful, and the American Union further declines.

Why would the Congressional Republican Leadership act this way? Because their interest isn’t in serving their constituents (whom they secretly despise) but getting set up for a lucrative post-electoral career on Cable networks, as a corporate lobbyist, or as a Regime Media-approved author.

An example of this transition: former Speaker of the House John Boehner, now a lobbyist for marijuana legalization and gleefully trashing his own party for book sales [America First Caucus a crazy idea, John Boehner, by David Cohen, Politico, April 18, 2021].

This is the endgame for many Republican politicians, and why many enter politics to begin with.

But why is an America First caucus a “crazy idea”? There was nothing in the draft that should even be controversial. People who don’t believe in America First shouldn’t even be in the country, let alone in Congress. Yet we have congressional parasites picking at the bones of America through race-based groups like a Black Caucus, a Hispanic Caucus, and an Asian Pacific American Caucus.

What truly seemed to outrage journalists and politicians was the call to defend “Anglo-Saxon institutions.” But obviously, Anglo-Saxon institutions shaped this country and America would not exist without the English founding population. Of course, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions inspired similar outrage when he referred to our “Anglo-American heritage of law enforcement.” Stating this fact is now apparently racist.

However, during the campaign, Joe Biden did explicitly recognize “our English jurisprudential culture.” It’s just that he thinks this “English jurisprudential culture, a white man’s culture” has “got to go.”

After all, things like the presumption of innocence or the need for evidence might get in the way of jailing political opponents based on lying political Narratives.

Instead, we are transitioning to a model based on tribal loyalties, with case law functioning purely on the Friend/Enemy political distinction, rather than any meaningful consideration of law.

Thus, Rep. Maxine Waters, a living caricature of post-America, calls for a guilty verdict for Derek Chauvin, the cop being judicially lynched for the death of St. George Floyd, calls for protesters to get “more confrontational,” and tells them to ignore curfews [Maxine Waters tells Minnesota BLM protesters ‘to get more confrontational’ one day after violent anti-police clashes erupted across US, by Holden Walter-Warner, Daily Mail, April 18, 2021]. Nothing will happen to her; no one will be held accountable for the ongoing riots. (But, again showing her undeniable political creativity, Marjorie Taylor-Greene is calling for Waters to be expelled from Congress.)

The Regime Media coverage surrounding “Anglo-Saxon institutions” was a bizarro version of the way journalists cover The Great Replacement. The Great Replacement is self-evident if you think it is good—but magically becomes a crazy conspiracy theory if you think it is bad. (The same is true of the War On Christmas).

In this case, we are apparently supposed to believe Anglo-Saxon legal and political institutions had nothing to do with creating America. Terms like “county” and “sheriff” came from nowhere and “Anglo-Saxon political institutions” appear in scare quotes. However, if you want to scrap this for judgement via random mobs, Anglo-Saxon political institutions suddenly exist again as a target.  

Another curious objection Leftists had to the America First draft: its reference to European architecture. The late Sir Roger Scruton wrote extensively on the importance of beauty, but Leftists seem firmly committed to making sure eldritch horrors paid by taxpayer dollars rise in every city. The Trump Administration tried to defend European styles in federal buildings but, significantly, this was one of the first things Biden revoked [President Biden Revokes Trump’s Controversial Classical Architecture Order, by Elizabeth Blair, NPR, February 25, 2021].

Progressives are deeply committed to ugliness.

This might be for the best—an ugly regime deserves ugly public art.

Obviously, what really riles up Leftists and journalists (but I repeat myself) was any hint that Anglo-Saxons or Europeans generally had traditions or interests that should be expressed or defended.

We’ve previously been told that whites can’t express pride because “whiteness” is based on a vague idea of oppression [What Is “Whiteness?” by Chris Roberts, American Renaissance, April 18, 2021]. It’s an artificial category created only to subjugate and so is inherently illegitimate.

Having ethnic pride in being Irish, Italian, Polish, or whatever else, was acceptable [There is no such thing as “white pride,” by Matthew Rozsa, Salon, August 18, 2017]. But now, however, expressing pride in or identification with the specific group that created America is verboten.

In this context, it’s worth quoting extensively from what CBS pretends a straight news report.

The focus on "Anglo-Saxon" and European terminology could be read as a veiled analogy for "White." The term "White Anglo-Saxon Protestant," or WASP, has traditionally been used in American culture to denote wealthy White families, typically with British ancestries. The Anglo-Saxons were a group who inhabited England prior to the Norman invasion of 1066.

American white nationalists have also relied heavily on medieval, viking and Anglo-Saxon imagery to justify their prejudice. During the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, some marchers carried banners with Anglo-Saxon runes, iconography that was also used by the Nazis.

(I note in passing that “Viking” has apparently been demoted to lower-case status. It’s a bizarre reference anyway, as one of the formative experiences of English nationhood was the Battle of Maldon, between the already Christianized Anglo-Saxons and the pagan Norse invaders. It produced a great poem, which include the prescient lines "Mind must be the stronger, heart the bolder, courage must be the greater, as our might lessens.")

White Anglo-Saxon Protestants have already been ejected from the new American Establishment. English-Americans are essentially invisible as a political grouping [Where Are the English-Americans?, by Robert Henderson, American Renaissance, January 20, 2012]. Why this is so is perhaps best described in Andrew Fraser’s The Wasp Question, who argues that it comes from a spiritual collapse within the Church of England and its Anglican descendants.

The universalist and individualist tendencies of WASPs make them easy prey for America’s opponents. Most of these opponents are not really progressives. They are revanchist ethnic nationalists driven by bizarre theories of racial mysticism, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that Hispanics should be immune from immigration laws because they are really American Indians and thus have a sacred right to this territory. Our opponents’ ethnic nationalism simply has nothing to do with the United States. The cultures they identify with and fight for have nothing to do with the West; the legacy they treasure has nothing to do with Britain. Instead, they are simply the apparatchiks of an Occupation Government that works to protect the tens of millions of invaders that have already conquered this country—not through any noble feat of arms, but through the treason of America’s elite.

If you can’t internalize the fact that you are already occupied, you won’t be able to fight back—or even define the situation.

It must be fought by reasserting the Anglo-Saxon core population of the country and the nature of its institutions. Even those soft Conservatism Inc. types who believe in a “Proposition Nation” must recognize that what few constitutional liberties we still enjoy derive directly from the tradition of English liberty.

Rather than Critical Race Theory, public schools should be teaching the development of the unwritten British constitution that was so important to the development of our own written one. America must be identified as an extension, not just of Western Civilization on this continent, but as part of the British diaspora.

The much-traduced Thomas Jefferson was especially enthusiastic about the Saxon ideal of armed men governing themselves [Jefferson and the Declaration: Anglo-Saxon to the Core, by Ilana Mercer, American Renaissance, July 3, 2017]. For the national seal, Jefferson proposed an image of the Israelites escaping Egypt on one side and on the other, “Hengist and Horsa, the Saxon chiefs from whom we claim the honor of being descended, and whose political principles and form of government we have assumed” [Jefferson’s Proposal, 20 August 1776, National Archives, Accessed April 18, 2021].

My opinion: if the British Crown could dispense with the silliness of maintaining the Commonwealth as a grab-bag of random Third-World disasters and limit membership to those with majority white populations, America could join it—and take an important step towards reclaiming our national and civilizational identity.

This would revitalize an institution that may not long outlast the Queen, especially given the shame Prince Harry has brought onto it.

My further opinion: we American-Americans should have an official day to honor the founding population of this country and the core ethnic group that continues to sustain the Republic.

And Americans could use another day off! Why not Boxing Day—December 26, the day after Christmas Day?

Maybe Republican cowardice has cost us an America First caucus—for now. But there are still simple steps courageous Republicans can take to put their representatives on the record about whether they support or oppose the continued existence of the Historic American Nation.

John Boehner may cry about it as he goes off on another bender somewhere. But no one cares about collaborators like him or Kevin McCarthy in the end [Ted Cruz calls John Boehner a drunk after former GOP speaker dubs Texan Senator a jerk, by Justin Vallejo, Independent, April 13, 2021].

The Historic American Nation is still here, and it needs a leader. it just requires one person with stature and courage to pick up the crown that is lying in the gutter.

And, whether we like it or not, we and our British cousins are marked out by fate to rise or fall together.
