Re Tom Piatak’s January 5th piece The War On Christmas After Ten Years
From: “Spirit Of The Fighting 69th" [Email him]
January 6, not 5th, is the end of the Christmas season, the Epiphany, the arrival of the three wise men. In the Orthodox Church, still using the Julian calendar, Christmas is on Jan. 6th.
P. S. The Pentagon chose to ignore December 7, Pearl Harbor Day, once again. Not a moment of silence, not a bosun's whistle, not a bugle call. Nothing.
