I would suggest the most productive approach is to support the transfer of red Virginia counties to West Virginia, which has extended an invitation to those counties to jump ship.

With the demographics currently existing, the best approach is to partition states and possibly regions into more homogeneous entities. At the very worst, this will give gun owners a real bargaining chip. I doubt that even a mass demonstration in Richmond would alter the determination of the Democrats to ban guns. On the other hand, local demonstrations in red counties with sheriffs planning local nullification and county boards planning secession could have a dramatic effect.
