Economics 101: Shortages are always and everywhere a function of price. I worked in the restaurant industry here in Dallas decades ago. Everyone I worked with at that time was native born. They were whites, blacks and Mexican-Americans. Restaurants were thriving in Dallas decades ago.
What changed?
