You knew it wouldn’t be long before we heard the cry that President Biden must grant Temporary Protected Status to Ukrainians who flee the invading Russian army.
Whatever the motives of some refugee partisans, which might be genuine concern, Leftists see the chance to push The Great Replacement. They would use Ukrainians as a stalking horse to lobby for a “path to citizenship” for the millions of illegal aliens who jumped the border with Mexico.
Leftist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a communist in everything but name, explained it clearly to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow after Biden’s State of the Union address. Biden advocated an Amnesty for DREAMers and “essential” foreign workers.

“The world is watching and many immigrants and refugees are watching,” she said. So granting TPS for Ukrainians, which would plant them here permanently as a practical matter, “should be how we are treating all refugees in the United States.”
Then came the reason why. Those living here under TPS—some 700,000, Pew Research estimated—won’t go home when the danger passes. Instead, they’ll get citizenship:
[T]he way that we are looking at immediate granting of TPS to Ukrainian refugees, which is what we need to be doing, as well as many others, is something that we really need to keep in mind. Because I do believe that, for example, the thousands of people who try to seek legal refuge on our southern border, how Haitian refugees have been treated by the United States, not just in past administrations, but frankly this one, is not right.
And we really need to make sure that when we talk about accepting refugees, that we are meaning it for everybody, no matter where you come from. But I do believe that this also presents a profound opportunity because of the amount of extraordinary support for Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees.
If we grant TPS to Ukrainian refugees, this is also an opportunity to finally create a path to citizenship for TPS recipients. A lot of people don’t know that TPS recipients by-and-large do not really have a concrete path to citizenship when many have been here for decades. So I think that while there is a risk, there’s also a profound opportunity for us to make the crooked path straight on this issue.
Give credit to AOC for one thing: honesty. She’s telling us exactly what she wants to do: swamp the country with almost 1 million penniless Third World vagrants under the cover of an unknown number of white Europeans.
Three days ago, France proposed activating an emergency provision of the European Union to import and distribute the refugees. Just two weeks ago, Britain had not committed to accepting them. On March 1, Prime Minister BoJo said the country would take in 200,000.
That raises the obvious question: Why can’t they stay in Europe?
AOC’s answer: Because we can use them to continue the browning of America.
