Canada’s Unmentionable Crimewave—Our Natives Believe They Are Above The Law, And We Pay The Price

Canada has a serious Indian crime problem (feather, not dot). But don’t expect its bought-and-paid-for Regime Media to tell the truth about it. To Canada’s elite, native Indians are sacred victims, oppressed unto eternity by “colonialism” and “white supremacy.”

Here are some statistics compiled by Simon Fraser University emeritus professor Gary Mauser:

  • The Aboriginal [native Indian] homicide rate is 8.2 per 100,000 Aboriginal population, while the rate for non-aboriginals is just 1.34 per 100,000 population.
  • Aboriginals are accused of homicide 10 times as frequently as non-aboriginal Canadians (9.8 vs. 0.9 per respective 100,000 populations).
  • The homicide rate on reserves is more than six times the rest of Canada. On-reserve homicide rate 13 per 100,000 people versus 2 per 100,000 off-reserve.

As one would expect, native Indians are disproportionately incarcerated in Canadian prisons (because they commit far more crimes), but federal corrections investigator Ivan Zinger calls this “appalling and shameful.” Indian activists claim that Indians are not considered “human beings” in Canada. The elite demands that something must be done.

It already is, and it is called Gladue. After a 1995 decision by the Kritarchs of Canada’s Supreme Court, Parliament amended the Criminal Code to ensure that Indians get special treatment to ensure they serve as little time, if any, for their crimes. This has resulted in predictable and numerous horror stories.

Not surprisingly, Canadian Indians have come to believe they are above the law. Indeed, Canadian politicians, even cabinet ministers, claim routinely that Canada is not sovereign and that every inch of this country belongs to its aboriginals. Last year, Canadians suffered their national flag to be flown at half-staff for half a year after several Indian bands invented and the media and politicians promoted the Hoax of the Century, an evidenceless libel that holds that mass murders of Indian children were committed at Canada’s long-shuttered residential schools.

As Prof. Mauser notes, one’s likelihood of being a victim of crime in Canada is heavily correlated to proximity to an Indian reserve. Penticton is a British Columbia resort city and retirement destination of 47,000 people. It is 8.2% Indian, adjacent to an Indian reserve and is a hotbed of crime (more than double the Canadian average).

Penticton merchants are now subject routinely to smash-and-grab raids by gangs. The RCMP have little interest in recovering stolen goods, so a group called Clean Streets Penticton is doing what the police won’t. These raids bear all the hallmarks of organized crime, but curiously, the Western Standard, which first reported on this, dares not speculate on the demographics of the criminals, despite the leading role of native Indians in this activity. (And its comments section forbids “racist” language.)

The RCMP has denounced Clean Streets Penticton as “vigilantes,” while the mayor tut-tutted, “We don’t need to operate in ways that create more stress in the community.” It is just a matter of time before they are cancelled for being “racists.” Just another week in Soviet Canuckistan.
