Sanctuary cities are finally dealing with the result of Traitor Joe Biden’s border treason. Shelters in New York City and Washington, D.C., are slammed with illegal aliens whom the federal government, and the governors of Texas and Arizona, Greg Abbott and Doug Doucey, are sending away from the border [Arizona joins Texas in sending migrants to Washington D.C. in advance of Title 42 hearing, by Mark Phillips, ABC15.com, May 12, 2022].
New York City Mayor Eric Adams wants American taxpayers to foot the bill. Almost 3,000 illegals piled into shelters recently.

“The problem in New York City is exacerbated by its ‘right to shelter’ mandate, which means any homeless asylum seeker who comes to town, by any means, has to be put in a bed somewhere,” Melissa Russo reported for NBC’s affiliate.
”Currently, New York City is experiencing a marked increase in the number of asylum seekers who are arriving from Latin America and other regions. In some instances, families are arriving on buses sent by the Texas and Arizona governments, while in other cases, it appears that individuals are being sent by the federal government,” Adams said in a statement, adding that more than 2,800 asylum seekers had entered the shelter system in recent weeks.

Abbot and Ducey aren’t sending the “migrants” to New York. Instead, the culprit is Traitor Joe. Of course, Adams couldn’t attack him—despite all those secret night flights into Westchester County. Instead, he went after the two Republicans:
“If they need financial help, they should ask for it instead of heartlessly sending asylum seekers on their way with a one-way ticket,” the spokesperson said of the governors. “In New York City, we have a legal and moral mandate to provide shelter to everyone who needs it, and will continue to fulfill that mandate, but, as we have said, we urgently need federal support to help us do so.”
Meanwhile, D.C.’s shelters are packed to the rafters with the penniless illiterates whom Biden invited into the country. Yet Mayor Muriel Bowser says Abbott and Ducey are pulling a fast one on the put-upon invaders.
“This is a significant issue. We have, for sure, called on the federal government to work across state lines to prevent people from really being tricked into getting on buses,” she said:
I fear that they’re being tricked into nationwide bus trips when their final destinations are places all over the United States of America.

This is what she said when POTUS 45 Trump was elected:
The values, laws, and policies of Washington, DC did not change on Election Day. We celebrate our diversity and respect all DC residents no matter their immigration status. We are a sanctuary city because we know that our neighborhoods are safer and stronger when no one is afraid to call on our government for help, and when our police can focus on protecting and serving.

Bowser’s enthusiasm for diversity, apparently, has limits.
Other cities and states are dealing with Biden’s border treason as well. Maine’s shelters are packed, and Portland’s shelters were overwhelmed months ago.
Fox News’s Bill Melugin and Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies observed the obvious:
D.C. is getting a small example of what tiny TX & AZ border towns have had to deal with every single day, with far less capacity. https://t.co/R45VgE1jOm

DC Mayor Bowser thinks illegal aliens are being "tricked" into being bussed from the border to DC (a sanctuary city). She's mad and wants $$ from the feds to deal with them, and apparently thinks they should go elsewhere. Welcome to the local impact of Biden border policies. https://t.co/yFN6h3sHmn
