The North Carolina GOP Delegation is one of the best: 4 As, 2 A minuses, a B+ and a C+, besides Burr. All the Democrats are of course F-
As became apparent in the Rob Portman case, Senators command a higher price. The GOP’s C+ is of course the ethically challenged Senator Thom Tillis.
So what caused Burr to tale the illogical step of denying the legitimacy of the trial and then in effect changing his mind by voting for conviction?
In February 2020 Burr was caught in what looked like a straightforward case of large-scale insider trading—based, shockingly, on senatorial briefings on the coronavirus threat. It was so bad Tucker Carlson called on him to resign.
Tucker Carlson calls for Senator Burr to resign and await prosecution for insider trading if he cannot provide a reasonable explanation for his actions. He goes on to say it appears that Senator Burr betrayed his country in a time of crisis pic.twitter.com/q7yJa5wjuA

On Trump’s last day in office the Justice Department told Burr they would not pursue charges against him.
Maybe the Biden Justice Department was about to change its mind.
Richard Burr is well qualified to join the other six lowlifes.
