As noted by Steve Sailer below, the Enoch Powell speech was read on the BBC by Ian McDiarmid, who played Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidius in some Star Wars movies. You have to assume this is because they wanted a villain to play Powell, but there's another, presumably unintended link—that character is most famous for saying: "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen."
People have been saying that everything is proceeding as Powell foresaw for many years—the common formulation, dating back to 1969, is "Enoch was right."
