Originally published on VDARE.com on this day in 2014. Simeon Adams, below, is serving 67 years, 55 for the murder of Nathan Trapuzzano, and a further 12 for a non-fatal shooting that occurred near the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. in Indianapolis.

To repeat myself somewhat, ever since President Obama said “If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon,” some people  have been referring to any black teenage thug who makes the news as “a son of Obama”. (This is racist, of course, but what isn’t?) It's possible, of course, that Obama  himself doesn't know about this. It’s the kind of thing people don’t want to tell their boss.

Well, the shooting of Nathan Trapuzzano, allegedly by 16-year old Simeon Adams, is the latest example of why George Zimmerman was right to be wary, and should have been warier, of a strange black teen. The 16-year-old suspect in the slaying of an expectant father laughed and joked with other inmates as he was led to his initial hearing Thursday on a murder charge.
