Alien smugglers have organized a massive attempt at alien smuggling. Unlike most alien smuggling attempts—secret criminal conspiracies—this smuggling operation is open and public. The alien smugglers even have a Facebook page. This is a perfect case for the much vaunted component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that is charged with investigating and arresting alien smugglers, that VDARE.com readers know as Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Victims Unit (ICE SVU), but formally known as Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); SVU because management there is uninterested in enforcing immigration laws, and more interested in sex crimes. ICE SVU claims they investigate crimes like alien smuggling, rather than enforce administrative violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended.

However, ICE SVU is noticeably absent during the largest alien smuggling conspiracy in the history of the United States, the Pueblo Sin Fronteras Caravan from Honduras to the United States.

The smugglers, whose name means "People Without Borders" in English, publicly listed their demands, including entry into the United States and Open Borders:

We demand of Mexico and the United States:

-That they respect our rights as refugees and our right to dignified work to be able to support our families

-That they open the borders to us because we are as much citizens as the people of the countries where we are and/or travel

-That deportations, which destroy families, come to an end

-No more abuses against us as migrants

-Dignity and justice

-That the US government not end TPS for those who need it

-That the US government stop massive funding for the Mexican government to detain Central American migrants and refugees and to deport them

-That these governments respect our rights under international law, including the right to free expression

-That the conventions on refugee rights not be empty rhetoric

This smuggling operation was not the product of a group of illiterates from Honduras, but an open conspiracy of others, well-funded, to violate U.S. immigration laws. According to ICE SVU, that is their bailiwick.

The question then is, why hasn’t ICE SVU started an investigation and began arrests of co-conspirators in the United States? The first step should be subpoenas to Facebook to see who runs their page, as well as to other social media providers. Evidence of their criminal activity is openly displayed on their Facebook and web pages, including this mission statement:

These statements are admissions to the crime of alien smuggling, Title 8 United States Code Section 1324, Bringing in or Harboring Certain Aliens, and is being committed publicly, and with the assistance of corporate America, PayPal specifically.

It also gave a PayPal account to offer donations. And Washington-based reporters reached out through the Facebook account for help covering the caravan.

So, why hasn’t Tom Homan, Acting Director of ICE, ordered HSI to raid PayPal and seize the monies and bank accounts receiving the payments sent to the alien smuggling organization? There is an organization behind this alien smuggling attempt. There are people in those organizations. And it is illegal to provide money to criminal organizations or for criminal purposes. Every person who donated through PayPal and PayPal itself are criminally liable.

But Thomas Homan and ICE SVU have done nothing. Why?
