Nepemnr writes: A little while ago I had the great pleasure of speaking with James Kalb. James Kalb is a lawyer, independent scholar, and Catholic convert who lives in Brooklyn, New York. In our interview we discussed his first book The Tyranny of Liberalism: Understanding and Overcoming Administered Freedom, Inquisitorial Tolerance, and Equality by Command, but we spent the bulk of our time on his second book, Against Inclusiveness: How The Diversity Regime is Flattening America and the West and What To Do About It.
This was a real treat for me. I view Mr Kalb's writing as holding arguments which are nothing short of devastating against the shortsighted, reckless mindsets that are killing the west. These books are mandatory for anyone looking for something to life beyond consumerism, exhausting progressive politics or nihilistic hedonism.
