Nationalists versus Globalists: It’s the political divide of our era.
At first blush, recent electoral gains the US, Europe, and Brazil would lead one to believe the Nationalists are out front. But, is team Globalist about to eclipse our victories with the passage of a single document; namely, the UN’s Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration? Or, as I affectionately refer to it, The National Suicide Pact.
The 34-page National Suicide Pact [PDF] is laden with all the usual internationalist buzzwords but one needn’t read between the lines to conceptualize the sweeping devastation this document will hail. In a sentence: This Pact makes migration a human right where every signatory nation will de facto and de jure hand over its sovereignty to the unelected and unaccountable United Nations.
Perhaps the Pact’s most glaring oversight rests in the fact that there is no mention of the term “illegal” anywhere in the document. Instead, throughout it, ‘illegals’, ‘economic migrants’ and ‘refugees’ become conflated classes all coming under one group that has a “human right” to go where they please, when they please, for whatever reason, in the most comfortable way possible. And that “migration—for any reason—is something that needs to be promoted, enabled, and protected.”
The National Suicide Pact—which almost all UN member states will sign in Morocco come early December of this year, is divided into 23 objectives.
Here are just some of the objectives and so-called shared responsibilities of signatory nations:
First, signatory states must actively promote and enable migration to our countries. Member countries are expected to "launch and publicize a centralized and publicly accessible national website to make information available on regular migration options, such as on country-specific immigration laws and policies, visa requirements, application formalities, fees and conversion criteria, employment permit requirements, professional qualification requirements, credential assessment and equivalences, training and study opportunities, and living costs and conditions, in order to inform the decisions of migrants."
Translation: Not only are we supposed to erase our borders, but we are then expected to market our open borders to the Third World so they can decide who’s got the most gibs and where said gibs are easiest to collect.
So, once we’ve enticed people to choose our country as the most plenteous, signatory nations must ensure its smooth sailing to our shores, “to reduce the risks and vulnerabilities migrants face at different stages of migration by respecting, protecting and fulfilling their human rights and providing them with care and assistance.”
Translation: Dinghies, rafts, and long walks to welfare state borders are risky business. Sea vessels and land transport vehicles for mass migrant movement coming right up! And you're the lucky sob who gets to pay for it! To boot, nations are expected to provide so-called migrants with info along their journey! Information such as what their rights are, what sorts of services are available that could benefit them, and do so in a language they understand.
So, after all they’ve been recruited and shipped comfortably into our country, fully aware of their rights and newfound privileges on the public dime… What are we responsible for once they actually arrive?
Once the migrant masses arrive, signatory nations will commit to:
"Provide newly arrived migrants with targeted, gender-responsive, child-sensitive, accessible and comprehensive information and legal guidance on their rights and obligations, including on compliance with national and local laws, obtaining of work and resident permits, status adjustments, registration with authorities, access to justice to file complaints about rights violations, as well as on access to basic services.”
AND. IT. DOESN’T. STOP. THERE.
Migrants, according to the agreement, must also be “empowered to realize full inclusion and social cohesion" in their new countries. This means, among other things, that countries must “promote mutual respect for the cultures, traditions and customs of communities of destination and of migrants by exchanging and implementing best practices on integration policies, programmes and activities, including on ways to promote acceptance of diversity and facilitate social cohesion and inclusion.”
And it goes on. "National... policy goals regarding the inclusion of migrants in societies, including on labour market integration, family reunification, education, non-discrimination and health" should be developed. In addition, the host country should facilitate “access to decent work and employment for which they are most qualified, in accordance with local and national labour market demands and skills supply.”
Translation: These literal welfare migrants will be afforded the same rights to education, the labour market and healthcare as citizens. You know, those schleps who just worked their behinds off and paid into the system for the past 50 years…
So, what happens if you disagree with all this enrichment? Simply put, disagreement with the agenda will not be tolerated. Because signatory states will work to dispel “misleading narratives that generate negative perceptions of migrants.”
How? Simple. Member states will "promote independent, objective and quality reporting of media outlets, including internet-based information, including by sensitizing and educating media professionals on migration-related issues and terminology, investing in ethical reporting standards and advertising, and stopping allocation of public funding or material support to media outlets that systematically promote intolerance, xenophobia, racism and other forms of discrimination towards migrants, in full respect for the freedom of the media."
That’s how you respect the media! Tell them what to write. Then, fund the ones who listen and eliminate those who don’t.
The Compact also requires nations to "eliminate all forms of discrimination, condemn and counter expressions, acts and manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, violence, xenophobia and related intolerance against all migrants in conformity with international human rights law." Note here that the agreement doesn’t deign to actually define what constitutes so-called “racism” or “xenophobia” never mind “related intolerance” ... Whatever that means.
So, is there any the silver lining to The National Suicide Pact? Well, a handful of based nations have announced they will withdraw from this self-slaughter. The US, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, and Australia are (at the time of writing this) the six sole states out of the 193 United Nations member states who have said “hard pass” to the Pact.
Now, for my countrymen up here in the Great White North, it’s even worse for we Canucks. According to Canada’s Immigration and Refugees Minister Ahmed Hussen (who is himself a Somalian refugee), CANADA WILL LEAD THE CHARGE ON THE UN’S MIGRANT PLAN! Hussen admits Canada was actively involved in the drafting of the Compact and that our nation was one of the first to offer concrete suggestions for the Pact, and that Canada is committed to leading and encouraging other nations to realize the Pact’s ambitious goals. Why? Because of the Middle East and Africa! Canada is paving the way to a more severe, permanent global migration crisis because we’re looking out for “Turkey, Lebanon, Uganda, and Bangladesh.”
And that is the trouble with the globalist mindset. Pathological altruism—an obsession with morality for thee, totally neglects morality for you and me.
This Compact isn’t charity. It’s highway robbery—of our nation's heritage and our future to come.
This Compact isn’t about human rights. It’s about injecting the radical ideas of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats into the national legislatures of citizens who were never asked if we wanted to be invaded in the first place.
The UN Migrant Compact spells the death of nations for every one that signs it.
