As President Donald Trump faces Banana Republic persecution in the form of the January 6 witch-hunt and the recent FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence, there exists a very real possibility that the 45th president could be convicted of manufactured crimes and forced out of the 2024 presidential contest.

If that happens … the obvious question is who will replace him. Possible answer: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

DeSantis made headlines in the past week after shipping illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, and even gave a recent speech attacking not just illegal immigration, but also legal immigration.

The Florida governor also has a sterling educational and military background, as a Yale undergrad, Harvard Law graduate, and legal adviser to the Navy SEALS in Iraq.

DeSantis was one of the first in public office to push back against the China Virus hysteria emanating from the D.C. Swamp.

In the summer of 2019, he banned local governments from establishing “sanctuary” policies and forced local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE to deport and prosecute illegal aliens.

In 2020, DeSantis would become a champion for E-Verify, signing into law the measure intended to keep illegal aliens out of the workforce. However, subversives ultimately undermined the bill and trimmed it back to apply only to state agencies and their contractors.

DeSantis [also] signed a bill that would allow Floridians to sue Big Tech companies for deplatforming them.

In many respects Trump’s victory has given many Republicans, even DeSantis, the courage to take edgier positions and be more confrontational with the corporate press and its political allies.
