Her name is Keris Riebel, a white female newlywed hacked to death by a black male as she simply tried to perform her shift at a Dollar Tree.
On New Year’s Day, Bethel Bekele—note the Ethiopian name—entered a Dollar Tree with a machete. Police were called when Bekele began to wave his machete around in the air.
He then approached Riebel who was working at the cash register. Bekele swung his machete at Riebel, killing her, and fled the scene. He was later arrested several blocks away.
Police don’t have a motive and, for some odd reason, this isn’t a national story.
Keris was married just last October and had just recently graduated from Franklin University with a bachelors in HR Business Management
