The News-Observer brings us a story out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina about an “NC Man” who was arrested for orchestrating a Ponzi scheme which defrauded Indian citizens in the Triangle area. His name is Kumar Neppalli, and in case you haven’t realized by now, he’s not an “NC Man,” but rather an Indian immigrant.
The News-Observer doesn’t say that, though, they say he’s a ”native of” India, as are, presumably most of his Indian-American victims.
Neppalli is accused of defrauding $1.9 million from business loans which he secured through his contacts in the local Indian community, which he was an active member of, acting as vice president and then president of the Triangle Telugu Association, and as a former board member of the Hindu Society of North Carolina.
A federal indictment accuses the Indian man of abusing “his good standing within the Indian-American community in Cary” to burn a minimum of 12 victims.
James Fulford writes for VDARE.com:
My point, not for the first time, is that the headline could easily have said ”Indian Immigrant Charged With Defrauding North Carolina Community” but the MSM instinct is to never let you know that an immigrant did anything bad, because that would be nativist.
