All I know is what I read in the newspapers, And according to them, “white supremacists” have joined in the past nine weeks to murder a prosecutor in Texas, a state prison chief in Colorado, and then a second Texas prosecutor and his wife. Another Texas prosecutor responded to the carnage by quitting a federal case involving “white supremacists.” [U.S. prosecutor quits Aryan case, citing security by James Pinkerton, Houston Chronicle, April 2, 2013]
(I’m putting “White Supremacist” in quotes because, as Anonymous Attorney has pointed out, these gangs are not formed not out of “supremacism” but simply out of the need to survive in America’s hellish integrated prisons. The MSM never calls the black/ Hispanic gangs “black/ Hispanic supremacists.”)
Clearly, America is overrun with these bloody “white supremacists.” What to do? Suspend the Constitution? Use drone strikes? Eliminate habeas corpus, and all other constitutional and common law protections for white supremacists? Shoot them and their children down like dogs?
(Oh, we did that already—at Ruby Ridge).
A fearful nation demands answers—and immediate action!
The Huffington Post says so!
KAUFMAN, TX—Suspicion in the slayings of a Texas district attorney and his wife shifted Monday to a violent white supremacist prison gang that was the focus of a December law enforcement bulletin warning that its members might try to attack police or prosecutors.
The weekend deaths of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, who were found fatally shot in their home, were especially jarring because they happened just a couple of months after one of the county's assistant district attorneys, Mark Hasse, was killed near his courthouse office.
And less than two weeks ago, Colorado's prison chief was shot to death at his front door, apparently by a white supremacist ex-convict who died in a shootout with deputies after fleeing to Texas.” [Mike McLelland Dead: Suspicion in Texas DA Death Shifts to White Supremacists by Nomaan Merchant and Juan A. Lozano, AP/Huffington Post, April 1, 2013, 10:43 p.m. ET EDT.]
The late Evan Ebel, from a quite different “white supremacist” gang, 211 Crew, is suspected of having murdered the Colorado prison chief, Tom Clements. Fellow 211 Crew member James Lohr, 47, was arrested on Friday as an accomplice in Clements’ murder. Tom Clements Death: James Lohr, member of white supremacist gang, arrested in Colorado prison chief murder, authorities say, CBS, April 5, 2013
An unnamed “source in the Colorado prison system” reportedly “speculated” that Clements was murdered out of retaliation for prison officials moving around white supremacist prison gang leaders. Consequently, Slate’s Justin Peters happily burbled,
“It seems highly plausible that all of these killings were retaliatory. But were the Texas and Colorado murders coordinated and linked? The timing of these killings—and the fact that Ebel died in a police shootout in Texas, not far from Kaufman County—certainly makes it a valid question.” [Are White Supremacist Prison Gangs Targeting Prosecutors and Prison Officials? April 1, 2013, at 6:05 p.m.]
Gimme a break—Ebel was killed 100 miles away from Kaufman County. Prison bosses churn white gang leaders all the time.
But last week one crack appeared in the MSM united front. Texas Gov. Rick Perry rejected the “White Supremacist” scenario and dared to mention border security, implying that Mexican gangs might be at fault for the murders of the Texas prosecutors.
“We know the drug cartels are very, very active in our country now. It goes back … to the whole issue of border security and the failure of the federal government to put the men and women, whether they are military or whether they’re border patrol or whether working with the local law enforcement, expend the dollars necessary to secure the border with Mexico,” Perry said on Fox News. [Rick Perry: Border security key in Texas DA murders by Breanna Edwards, Politico, April 3, 2013, 2:24 p.m. EDT.] [VDARE.com links added]
Politico’s Edwards reported further that there was no evidence tying the AB to the two prosecutors’ murders, only “rumors.”
Who started these rumors, pray tell? Law enforcement? Or the MSM?
In fact, of course, targeting police and prosecutors for death is indeed a trademark Mexican drug cartel practice—in Mexico. But it has never been associated with “White Supremacists” in the U.S.
However, nationwide headlines decrying the murder of prosecutors and their families by Mexican gangs would not help the current MSM-bipartisan D.C. elite campaign for the nation-breaking mass Amnesty/ immigration surge—which could legalize tens of millions of illegal alien invaders, many of them Mexican.
Indeed, ABT insists that it being “set up” by prosecutors for murders it hasn’t committed and which even legal experts agree are not at all ABT’s style. [Aryan Brotherhood of Texas Says It's Being “Set Up” for Prosecutors' Murders by Erin Fuchs, Business Insider, April 5, 2013, 9:33 a.m.]
Over at The Atlantic, Derbyshire-smearing blogger Elspeth Reeve tries to have it both ways, mocking ABT as “White Supremacist” while approvingly quoting real “White Supremacist” groups who condemn it for its lack of purity. (One of ABT’s leaders, Tyler "The Hulk" Bingham, reportedly is the son of a Jewish father, and sports tattoos of both a Nazi swastika and a Star of David.) The notoriously sloppy Reeve also turns murder victim Mark Hasse of Texas into a “Colorado assistant district attorney.” [White Supremacists Think the Aryan Brotherhood is a Gang of Race Traitors by Elspeth Reeve, The Atlantic, April 5, 2013, 1:55 p.m.]
This campaigning coverage is getting to be a real pattern with the increasingly monolithic MSM. Probably the internet makes these campaigns easier to co-ordinate—remember the “Journolist” scandal, in which MSM “reporters” were found to be orchestrating pro-Obama coverage during the 2008 election.
Maybe that’s what we should call these Cultural Marxist MSM commissars: “Journolists.”
Last fall, I exposed (here and here) a hate crime hoax perpetrated by student and professional “journalists,” who conspired with racial socialist student and staff activists at the University of Texas/Austin on the eve of oral arguments before the Supreme Court in the big affirmative action case, Fisher vs. University of Texas. I concluded that the hoaxes were explicitly intended to swing the High Court to retain racial spoils.
Subsequently, race-baiting intimidation campaigns have targeted a white federal prosecutor, Sam Ponder, and then against Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and John Roberts. My VDARE.com colleague Steve Sailer concluded, I am convinced correctly, that these campaigns were organized in order to pressure swing Justice Anthony Kennedy to vote against scuttling the Voting Rights Act, then before the Supreme Court.
More recently, the MSM and the Washington Post in particular, seem to be in full-time Hoax Crime mode. Sailer concluded—again rightly, I believe—that the motivation is “KKKrazy glue”: The only thing holding the Democrats’ racial socialist coalition together is the constant invective against the essentially non-existent “white supremacist.” He is today’s Emmanuel Goldstein.
Full disclosure: initially, even I was ready to accept the “white-supremacists-are-murdering-prosecutors” story, although it was coming from the MSM.
One of my readers at Nicholas Stix Uncensored discussed this problem of falling for MSM propaganda campaigns last April.
God help me, I am an idiot. I'm the guy that, when someone says, "Did you know the word 'gullible' is not in the dictionary?" answers "Really??" When the Trayvon Martin story broke nationally, I felt it was a shameful thing that that white guy, Zimmerman, brought down upon all of us. Dupe, dupe, dupe.
In due time, sorting through the "facts" on offer and weighing them all for their relative plausibility, I came to a different conclusion.
And then came Tulsa...you know, the Tulsa that apparently has not changed one whit since 1921. And my first reaction was, this is not good, this is a bad thing and I should be ashamed. Simp, dupe, patsy, call me what you like—it's all true. I fall for it every time. [VDARE.com links added]
(Another VDARE.com colleague, James Fulford, says he too was tricked over initial reports of white violence in Tulsa. It turned out the racist shooter in that case was a Cherokee…whose father had been murdered by a member of Tulsa’s African-American community. )
Sifting through MSM “reports” is increasingly like being a juror in a felony trial in which all of the witnesses are convicted serial perjurers. Whether journalist or civilian, if you’re reading these guys, you have no choice but to cherry pick.
It’s an impossible task for an ordinary citizen, who doesn’t have the 63 hours a week I put into researching and writing.
And it’s getting ever harder for me.
No matter how much one despises and seeks to tune out the MSM, it persuades us, against our will, via distortion, omission, and outright lies, so that we fail to see the truth, or to even conceive of possibilities of thought and action.
That’s why VDARE.com exists.
