The United States Naval Academy recently pulled Confederate naval officer and trailblazing scientist Matthew Fontaine Maury’s name off the campus engineering building. The academy renamed it for POTUS 39—Jimmy Carter, class of 1946. I suppose we must be glad the academy didn’t go whole hog and name the building for David Robinson, the 1987 grad who played in the NBA. Of course, Replacing Maury is a proxy for Replacing the White South—and ultimately White America. Thus one announced GOP candidate for president, Nikki Haley, as governor of South Carolina helped lower the Confederate battle flag in the state capitol—signifying that she’s comfortable with the war against all things Confederate and, like other cases of the Indian CEO virus, just isn’t all that concerned about the Historic American Nation. Symbols, and the way people treat them, matter.
Maury, a distinguished naval officer who served in the U.S. and Confederate navies, practically invented oceanography and global meteorology. Sadly, his achievements now mean nothing in Clown World America.
Maury was just one of the victims of the Naming Commission that is purging anything Confederate in the U.S. military. Thus the U.S. Military Academy at West Point has removed a portrait of General Robert E. Lee, not only second in his class at West Point, and without a single demerit, but also the Academy’s superintendent 1852-1855. West Point also removed Lee’s stone bust and bronze triptych. “We will conduct these actions with dignity and respect,” said Lt. General Steven Gilland, the superintendent [Message from the Superintendent, WestPointedu].
Also to be renamed at West Point: Lee Road, Beauregard Place, and Hardee Place, Lee Barracks, Lee Housing Area, and Lee Child Development Center.
Haley’s candidacy is an open effort to de-Trumpify the GOP, as she made clear at CPAC: “If you’re tired of losing,” she told the hostile attendees, “then put your trust in a new generation.” No wonder the hard-right, pro-Trump worthies of CPAC heckled her.

That “new generation” is increasingly hostile to the Historic American Nation, and one of more increasingly hostile elements is Haley. The daughter of Punjabi Indian immigrants, Nimrata Randhawa has no affinity to the Historic American Nation or her home state’s past. One of her most notable moves as governor was to appoint black U.S. Representative Tim Scott to the Senate seat left vacant when its occupant, Jim DeMint, went to work for Conservatism Inc.’s Heritage Foundation. The GOP leadership has an unhealthy fetish for diversifying its leadership ranks so it looks nothing like the party’s white base.
Haley presided over the removal of the Confederate battle flag from the statehouse after the Charleston Church mass shooting of 2015. With her foreign background and willingness to kowtow to the leftist Mainstream Media, she is a willing if not enthusiastic participant in the Ruling Class’s effort to erase the Historic American Nation. If Haley is willing to bend the knee over the battle flag, who would stop from tearing down the Jefferson Memorial or renaming the Washington Monument after Harriet Tubman?
Of course Haley isn’t the only weak sister on this matter. Texas GOP Senators Ted Cruz, who can be reasonable on immigration matters, succumbed to the logic of the Civil Rights Revolution in the summer of 2019. He actually criticized Tennessee’s move to hold a day in commemoration of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, one of the Confederacy’s most storied and successful cavalry commanders. “This is wrong,” Cruz declared.

Cruz apparently knows nothing about Forrest, who reconciled with blacks and volunteered to “exterminate” the whites who had lynched four blacks [White Knights of the North, by John Marquardt, The Abbeville Institute, May 24, 2018].
But under sufficient Regime Media pressure, even otherwise intelligent conservative Republicans will duck into the bushes when the anti-whites start firing.
It’s already clear that the left won’t stop at Confederates. At the end of 2020, communist thugs in San Francisco stained a monument of Abraham Lincoln with red paint in front of the city hall [Cancel Abraham Lincoln? San Francisco grapples with the president’s legacy, by Faith E. Pinho, Los Angeles Times, December 30, 2020]. Even after court historians have spilled tons of ink portraying Lincoln as a proto-civil rights champion who ended slavery, the crazy anti-white mobs still want to deface his monuments.
Vandals at his eponymous university in Washington, D.C., wrecked a statue of George Washington, while Teddy Roosevelt’s statue was removed from its prominent place in front of New York’s Museum of Natural History.
Even abolitionists aren’t safe from the iconoclastic frenzy: Communists defaced the statue of Matthias Baldwin with the words “colonizer” and “murderer.” It’s all mind-boggling to say the least.
And like abolitionists, non-Anglo Europeans are not spared either. Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, took down Alcalde’s statue of Juan de Oñate, Spain’s colonial governor, during the Black Lives Matter madness of 2020 [County Takes Down Oñate Monument, by Molly Montgomery, Rio Grande Sun, June 15, 2020]. That same night, communist mobs in Albuquerque tried to knock down Oñate’s statue. When a society’s symbols and historical figures are erased from the public square, it has for all and intents purposes been conquered by alien interlopers.
Statue destruction, building renamings, and even ritual disinterment will be followed by state-sponsored racial redistribution schemes and stronger anti-white racial quotas. That’s the escalatory spiral that will be unleashed if America doesn’t stand its ground against the anti-white, communist left.
Should we lose this battle, the civilization white men carved out of the American wilderness will wither away. Nations can recover from destructive economic experiments such as communism. They cannot recover from demographic replacement. Once whites become a minority, the United States of America is finished.
That is why Nikki Haley must be rejected—which appears to have happened at CPAC, thankfully. Serious political leadership grounded in identitarian principles is required to stop this anti-white juggernaut that is mowing down America’s past as depicted in her public squares. One thing is abundantly clear: Haley, and Conservatism Inc., who can’t and won’t defend the Historic American Nation and its symbols, aren’t the leaders we need.
