This most recent 21st century attempt at breaking up America through multilingualism by fifth columnists has its roots, just like many other weapons of subversion, in a Clinton era executive order.
Named Executive Order 13166, Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency, , it used that penultimate tool of unconstitutional anti-Americanism, the 1965 Civil Rights Act, as the basis for declaring foreign languages protected status.
At the time, I had access to Capitol Hill, and made a big stink of the ramifications of this order with Republican Congressmen and staff.
I was almost uniformly ignored and dismissed. The usual response was they had more important things to worry about. Things like Clinton perjury regarding the meaning of “is” and “sex”. However, they did promise it would be taken up in the next administration.
When Bush came in there was some pressure from grass roots to remove this executive order. Bush chose not to do anything and let the executive order stand. Peter Brimelow, in his book Alien Nation, which I read with glee when It first came out and no longer felt like a lone wolf, wrote that one the future great threats to America—aside from third world immigration—was the balkanization caused by multilingualism.
Obama is just continuing what Bill Clinton started, and George W. continued to allow.
