Whites are now a minority at UCLA, as they are at UC-Berkeley. As whites become a minority on more campuses, how will they be treated? Not well if Alexandra Wallace’s experience is any indication. She has basically gone into hiding after receiving death threats. The University is also considering disciplinary action against her.

Isn’t diversity great?

As it happens, yesterday was the seventh anniversary of a possible answer to the fate of white minorities: the racially-motivated torture-murder in Scotland, by (South) Asians, of a completely innocent 15-year old white schoolboy, Kriss Donald. The facts, which take some reading, are well recounted by the UK blogger Sarah Maid of Albion here.

Sarah writes:

...[W]henever our media mention hate crimes, we only ever hear two names, Anthony Walker and Stephen Lawrence, the sole two totem victims of the anti-racist movement, being the victims of white on black violence (or allegedly so in the case of Stephen Lawrence). However, of Kriss Donald there is never a mention.The Walker and Lawrence killings were awful crimes, but both died swiftly, Walker from a single blow, and Lawrence by two stab wounds, whereas Kriss was terrorised for hours and then tortured and then set alight.

Peter Fahy, spokesman of race issues for the Association of Chief Police Officers noted that the media as a whole tended to under report the racist murders of white people, noting "it was a fact that it was harder to get the media interested where murder victims were young white men".

Exactly as Sarah predicted, I see no stories on the anniversary of Kriss Donald's death.
