There are a minimum of eleven million illegals in the United States. That's the scale of the crisis.

Oh, and by the way, if anyone thinks that the Posse Comitatus Act limits the use of troops to guard the border, give your head a shake. The Posse Comitatus Act is designed to prevent the Army from being used on Americans.

Protecting borders and preventing invasions is what armies are for.
