If a civilized society is to have a serious, functioning criminal justice system that includes jury trials, then it must have juries that can deliberate fairly regardless of racial or ethnic solidarity with the defendant. But in the trial of cop-killer Emanuel Lopes, in a clear case of jury nullification, a 22-year-old Hispanic woman juror refused to deliberate, and so the woman judge declared a mistrial [Judge declares mistrial in Emanuel Lopes double-murder case; audible gasps in court, by Grace Zokovitch Boston Herald, July 11, 2023].
Meet Katrian Navarez, the 22 year old Worcester resident and UMass student who single handedly caused a murdered cop's mistrial. She refused to deliberate with other jurors, further victimizing the family, and Judge Cannone allowed that to happen. https://t.co/SRgKwx3zQF pic.twitter.com/2by6b42bAt

Importantly, Lopes does not deny killing police Sgt. Michael Chesna, 42, and bystander Vera Adams, 77, five years ago. Instead, he pleaded insanity.
That not unimportant fact aside, naturally, the communist Main Stream Media didn’t reveal that a juror refused to deliberate, or even try to find out why the jury couldn’t reach a verdict. But Independent Turtle Boy News reporter Aiden Kearney did exactly that for a story that described the courtroom circus:
The jury has now been deliberating for over a week and has not reached a verdict. Eleven of the 12 jurors are set on guilty, but one virtue signaling individual is not only holding out, but refusing to participate in deliberations. Instead of demanding that the female juror snap out of it and do her job, Cannone sent the jury home for the weekend, putting the Chesna family through mental torture.

Kudos for Kearney for digging where the anti-cop MSM wouldn’t. He identified the recalcitrant juror and showed just who upended an easy conviction: a wannabe Tik Tok star called Katrian Nevarez:
She graduated from University Park Campus School in 2018 before attending UMass-Amherst. Her pronouns are she/her, which means that she has a vagina and agrees that it should be there.
[Juror Who Refused To Deliberate Causing Chesna Mistrial Identified As Katrian Nevarez From Worcester, July 12, 2023]
There followed several of Nevarez’s social media posts, which prove that only an idiot or a communist interested in acquitting a clearly guilty defendant would have permitted her on the jury. “Our justice system was in the hands of this person,” Kearney wrote over a photo of her twerking for the camera.
Wonderful. The Chesnas must go through another heart-wrenching trial because a twerking girl barely out of pigtails and pimple cream was a juror.
But even if Kearney got it wrong, and we have no reason to believe he did, the mistrial raises serious questions about the future of jury trials, a system developed by and for white (English) men, in a diverse society. Not all, but too many minorities are incapable of rendering a fair verdict based on hard evidence, as we know from the O.J. Simpson and Derek Chauvin trials. They will nullify an obvious guilty verdict either out of emotion or ethnic/racial grievance against The Man. Or, as in the case of a woman juror at the Chauvin lynching, they will convict a white man because they fear being killed by enraged minorities.

In the age of nation-breaking immigration, Antifa goons and Black Lives Matter, it may be that the U.S. will have to abandon jury trials. Then again, bench trials might be worse if the judge is an anti-cop, anti-white leftist Kritarch.
