In a week when the smell of putrefaction from the U.S. polity has markedly increased it is incumbent to remember that failure to combat the fraudulent 2020 election was a key inflection point.
This week the great patriot Joe Fried has Substacked an important case study from that atrocity: Michigan Election Fraud was Concealed by Feds [May 28, 2024].
America has very little election fraud for a good reason: Our Department of Justice refuses to see it—at least, not when it can hurt Democrats.
Joe makes two key points:
Shortly before the 2020 election, a women walked into a Muskegon County election office and submitted thousands of voter registration applications. An alert election clerk named Ann Meisch noticed that many of the applications were extremely suspicious, with birth-dates, addresses, and signatures that did not match the information on related drivers license…
The matter was then turned over to Muskegon local police and state authorities, including Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Attorney General Dana Nessel. They briefly investigated the matter before the probe was turned over to the FBI.
After that, the story went dark for almost 3 years.
Michigan Democrats clearly prepared to rig the 2020 well beforehand:
Without waiting for a request (the normal procedure in Michigan), [MI Secretary of State] Benson mailed out ballot applications to everyone on Michigan’s registration list.
Benson, the left-wing activist who once worked for Southern Poverty Law Center, told election clerks to “presume” signatures were valid.
Estimates of how many applications were sent to the unqualified reach 800,000. The Michigan vote total in 2020 was 5.479 million: Biden allegedly won by 154,188 votes.
Fried does not raise this in his essay, but a feature of the Michigan election was the savage aggressiveness with which the unspeakable MI AG Dana Nessel litigated against anyone questioning the results. Fried concludes
…there should not have been a certification of the 2020 Michigan election.
