I’m probably one of the very few who thought that Biden did a fine job during the debate—for who he is. Perhaps I’ve been consuming too much right-wing media, but I already knew he was senile. The challenge he had was to stand for 90 minutes without falling over or crapping his pants. By those standards, he did excellently. If you add in that as Jill Biden said he answered all the questions, he did even better.

Now, I don’t believe I agree with Biden on anything at all. I never would have voted for him in the first place.

There was one thing that got under my skin, and it’s not surprising. Ever since Border Patrol Union head Brandon Judd screwed up and endorsed the fraudulent loophole-ridden Senate border bill, the Democrats have used this for political capital. Why did Judd do such a stupid thing? I was told by a union official that the Border Patrol Union really wanted House bill H.R. 2, but since Chuck Schumer refused to consider it, they went with the Senate being fooled into believing it would decrease border crossings a little bit, and negotiation could be started between the House and the Senate

It was a bad miscalculation on Judd’s part, and he should admit to making a mistake, but he won’t. Judd got lots of backlash from union membership for doing that, so now (even though he won’t admit error), the Border Patrol’s twitter account is stepping up and telling how Border Patrol Agents really feel about it [National Border Patrol Council: Trump Supports Agents’ Mission; Biden ‘Burned the Border to the Ground,’ by Nick Gilbertson, Breitbart, February 29, 2024].

I don’t understand why they gave such deference to Lord Schumer. Schumer couldn’t even get his sham bill to pass the Senate, leaving the House bill as the only real alternative, yet no one is talking about that.

Biden made this claim during the debate:

The labor union representing US Customs and Border Protection agents set the record straight Thursday after President Biden claimed to have the support of its members during his debate with former President Donald Trump. 

“We significantly increased the number of asylum offices, significantly … by the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me, endorsed my position,” the 81-year-president claimed during an exchange on immigration. 

The National Border Patrol Council refuted Biden’s claim mid-debate.

CNN’s radical left-wing journofas are running cover for Biden by saying Biden “…inaccurately said that the Border Patrol union had endorsed him before clarifying that he was talking about agents’ support for the bill he had backed…”. That’s not what I saw when watching the debate, and this is not the only notable Biden lie:

Border Patrol’s line agents are barred from talking to the media, so we rely on the Border Patrol Union to speak for us. Other than Judd’s one-time error, the B.P. Union has been blasting Biden since the start of his administration.

 Previously, the Union has asked Biden to “keep our name out of your mouth” (something he clearly did not do debate night).

On Biden’s new executive orders to supposedly slow the invasion (as Federale has pointed out,they will do no such thing), the B.P. Union has issued the following statement [June 6, 2024]:

I’m pretty sure the National Border Patrol Council will be endorsing Trump again if that isn’t already clear by now.

The only real question is: Who will be the Democratic candidate? Are they going to try to replace him voluntarily, or make a martyr out of him with a sudden heart attack? Death can get you a lot of sympathy, after all.
