It's official: Jesse Lee Matthew, the "gentle giant" indicted in connection with the disappearance of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, now faces a first-degree murder charge in the case.

Authorities also wonder if he killed Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington and raped a girl in Fairfax in 2005. He pleaded not guilty in that one.

Matthew will not face the death penalty in the Graham case because he was not charged with capital murder.
