Lauren Boebert claims there are about 16.8 million illegal aliens living in the United States, which accounts for about 22 house seats—i.e., all residents are counted for apportionment of congressional seats, what we call the Rotten Borough effect.  Personally, I think her numbers are off.

For the past two or three censuses, they’ve been claiming there are 11 million illegal aliens in the U.S., and Biden has let in about 9 million so far.  That’s about 20 million illegal aliens. 

Whatever the actual numbers, Boebert is one of the cosponsors of the Equal Representation Act, which would direct the Census to put a stop to this.
