The New York Times and The Washington Post have yet to tell readers that Juan Thompson, “the "St. Louis Man”and “former journalist” who, police allege, threatened to bomb Jewish targets, is a Muslim.

Thompson’s threats, the criminal complaint says and the newspapers duly reported, were “part of a sustained campaign to harass and intimidate” his white girlfriend.

If Thompson were a white Catholic or Evangelical, does anyone doubt both newspapers would trumpet those facts and begin speculating, or permit Jewish spokesmen to speculate, about a much darker motive?
