In law enforcement it is said that sometimes a moving roadblock is more effective than a stationary one. A moving roadblock involves taking several squad cars and having them in each lane on a highway moving slowly, like at 10 or 20 miles an hour. If you had a hard roadblock, it’s more likely that motorists might be getting off on an exit ramp and then immediately back on the next on-ramp to get around the block. By continuing to move slowly, anyone trying to do that may find themselves still stuck in a slow-moving traffic jam.
We are seeing that a little bit with FBI Director Chris Wray, who initially refused to turn over documents incriminating the Bidens, then offered to show the document to Congressman but only in his office, and then when that failed, he finally presented the document, but heavily redacted it. He essentially is doing a slow walk, aka stalling, a moving roadblock.
Now, we have Republicans talking about impeaching Mayorkas. They have started a months-long process of looking into Mayorkas’s actions.

As if you need to investigate and not simply look at what he is doing with your own eyes. I’m sure their excuse is that they want to get all their ducks in a row before impeaching him. It would not surprise me if just as he’s about to be impeached, Mayorkas simply resigns and Biden appoints another far Leftist anti-heritage American traitor. That’ll give the Republicans an excuse to start the process over and do more hearings. In the meantime, the southern border remains open with millions pouring over it.
They did solicit the testimony of former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott. Scott essentially got forced out when he wouldn’t go along with calling illegal aliens (a term codified in law) “undocumented immigrants”. Scott testified, “They made it very clear: Expedite processing and find new ways to let migrants into the U.S. That was the only agenda.”

Chief Scott has integrity and that’s why he did not last but a few months into the new administration. It is also why I am very suspicious of anyone willing to serve at the top of the current Border Patrol administration. I heard someone argue that the new chief will only have to serve two years under Biden and then he will be serving under Trump. That’s a whole lot of wishful thinking. First, Trump will have to win despite deep state propaganda tactics, ballot harvesting and other shenanigans. Then, you have to assume that Trump would want to keep anyone on board who went along with the Open Borders agenda. If I were advising Trump, I’d tell him to get rid of all those at the highest level of the Border Patrol precisely to send a message to the troops that a new sheriff is in town and he’s not putting up with the crap of the prior administration. There’s already ample evidence to impeach Mayorkas. Less talk, more action.
