This is delicious, and explains much about Donald Trump's popularity.

ABC reporter and CultMarx enforcer Tom Llamas tries to rectify Trump's vocabulary.

Llamas: "Are you aware that the term "anchor baby," that's an offensive term.  People find that hurtful ..."
What people?  Freshmen residency assistants at liberal-arts colleges? Luis Gutiérrez?
Trump: "You mean it's not politically correct and yet everybody uses it?  Say, y'know what ..."

Llamas:  "Look it up in the dictionary.  It's offensive."

I actually did look it up at Dictionary.com.  It's not there. I went to my trusty Webster's Third, 1993 edition:  nope, nothing between "anchor ax" and "anchor ball".  The OED?  Strike three.

This guy's a professional journalist?

Trump:  "Give me a different term, give me a different term.  What else would you like to say?"

Llamas:  "'The American-born child of an undocumented immigrant'."

Trade in four syllables for seventeen?
Trump:  "You want me to use that?  OK.  No, I'll use the word 'anchor baby'."

Llamas:  "Why ... I'm saying ..."

Trump's had enough of the nonsense.  He elbows aside this metrosexual twerp and proceeds on his way.
Trump:  "Excuse me."

Llamas:  "Why d'you have to use that phrase?"

Trump:  "I'll use the word 'anchor baby'."

You have to see both speakers, both sides of the exchange for full effect:  the CultMarx enforcer, and the Donald.  Each is an 18-second clip; spare the time.
