The Ukrainian interloper who won the 2024 Miss Japan contest has resigned because of the backlash from the Japanese people. The Japanese just refused to accept their replacement in their own land by a foreigner larping as a Japanese. Ostensibly it was because of an affair she was having with a married man, but the real reason is the Japanese don’t like diversity or having Globohomo forced down their throats [Miss Japan Not Ukrainian, But Jewish, by Federale, Federale Blog, January 29, 2024].

Karolina Shiino, the Ukraine-born winner of last month’s Miss Japan contest, has relinquished her title, the contest organizer said Monday, following a magazine report that she was having an affair with a married man.

It is the first time a Miss Japan winner has relinquished their title. The organizer said the post will be vacant for the year.
That appears just to be a cover story given the strong pushback against her for not really being Japanese.
