A fellow named Charlie Kirk, whom you probably haven't heard of, thinks that Democrat mayors and Democrat control of major cities are the reason those cities are failures. Kirk tweeted a list of cities and asked readers what they all have in common: Democrat mayors.

Undoubtedly, he is right. But he left out something else all these cities have in common—large minority populations. Of course, even if he did notice, he wouldn't be allowed to say.

This is a common theme among conservatives who critique major cities. Democrats equal chaos. Well, as I have asked before, if liberal policies are the problem, why are cities as Seattle nice places to live?
