Juan Bernal, chief of the Del Rio border sector, has proved yet again that Donald Trump was right: Mexico isn’t sending its best. Neither, of course, is the rest of Central America. Bernal reports that sector agents collared almost two dozen illegal-alien sex offenders between October 1 and November 26.

Bernal didn’t divulge how many were previously deported or where they committed their crimes, but it’s a safe bet that many if not most of them were previously deported and committed sex crimes here.

About this time last year during a nationwide sweep, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested more than 10 dozen illegal-alien sex fiends.
Border agents caught 15,267 criminal illegals who tried to jump the border in fiscal 2023. Convictions for sex crimes numbered 284. Through November 14 his fiscal year, agents have arrested 1,569 criminal illegals. Their convictions for sex crimes numbered 19.
Let’s not forget what then GOP POTUS candidate Donald Trump said in 2015:
When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. ... They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
